Catherine Chrismas has joined the Commodity team as a VP, bringing with her several years of experience within headhunting and talent search, albeit in a different sector. To start with, she will be working across the renewable energy and plant-based protein sectors. Welcome Catherine!
Ultra running CEO!
A deep frost greeted our CEO, Jakob, as he set off to run a hilly 55km Ultra marathon along the beautiful Jurassic Dorset coast. This tough endurance race was super cold and windy which made coming a hugely respectable 4th place in his age category no mean feat! Jakob managed a credible time of just over seven hours, making a new friend along the way…..
Performance in sports and performance at work
Currently trending in #mentalhealth, this is a chat between our CEO, Jakob, and Mads Louring from Norden’s trading team who both ran the Vietnam Mountain Ultra Marathon, with Mads coming in first place over the 70km race! There are huge correlations between the mental strength, resilience and discipline needed for both running and trading and this mindset hugely helps with performance of both.
